A New Way To Revive Your MacBook Pro 133 Inch A1278 Battery

The good news is that replacing a MacBook battery is a relatively simple and inexpensive process. In this article, we'll show you how to replace the battery in your MacBook Pro 13-inch (A1278).

Instructions

1. Turn off your MacBook and unplug it from any power source.

2. Close the lid of your MacBook and flip it upside down.

3. Locate the 10 screws that hold the bottom cover in place. These screws are located around the perimeter of the bottom cover.

4. Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 10 screws.

5. Once the screws are removed, you can lift the bottom cover off of the MacBook.

6. Locate the battery. The battery is a large, rectangular component that is located in the center of the MacBook.

7. Disconnect the battery from the logic board. The battery is connected to the logic board by two connectors. To disconnect the connectors, use a spudger to gently pry them up.

8. Remove the battery from the MacBook.

9. Insert the new battery into the MacBook.

10. Connect the battery to the logic board.

11. Replace the bottom cover.

12. Screw in the 10 screws that hold the bottom cover in place.

13. Turn on your MacBook and plug it into a power source.

Your MacBook's battery should now be replaced.
